KOREA PRIDE (Documentary Short)
2019 | Director | Cinematographer | Editor | 16:10
Korea Pride sets out to observe the LGBTQIA spaces in Seoul while highlighting the constant opposition the community faces to simply exist. Framed from the perspective of several artists and activists on the cusp of society, we get a glimpse into their lives and community days before the Korea Queer Pride Festival. As their national issues with Christian extremist and societal constructs are explored a tragedy on the other side of the world produces an immediate call to action from LGBTQIA communities on an international scale. This film touches on the love, resilience, strength and most profoundly the sense of togetherness that exists in the LGBTQIA community.
